Why we go here:
-
Revelstoke is a mecca for heli-skiing and backcountry skiing, where deep winter snowfall, rugged mountain ranges and a vibrant mountain-town culture come together.
Set in a beautifully restored historic hotel in downtown Revelstoke, Eleven offers a private heli-ski experience built around each group. With flexible trip dates, a dedicated concierge team and genuinely unlimited heli-hours, guests can shape their stay around their schedule, the conditions and how they want to ski. For an especially efficient arrival or departure, guests can also heli-ski from Kelowna International Airport to the lodge, or back to the airport at the end of their stay, turning travel days into ski days.
From town, Eleven accesses approximately 300,000 acres across the Monashee and Selkirk ranges. Abundant snowfall and varied terrain offer everything from open alpine bowls and glaciated peaks to deep tree runs and playful pillow lines. The private format gives groups the freedom to adapt each day to the snow, terrain and their appetite for adventure.
The lodge’s 12 beautifully appointed rooms accommodate up to 16 guests, depending on the configuration. Thoughtful design, rooftop wellness facilities and a distinctive speakeasy in the building’s former boiler room make the hotel a destination in its own right. A dedicated concierge team helps arrange the details, while Revelstoke’s restaurants, cafés and bars are just steps away. Revelstoke Mountain Resort is nearby for a warm-up day before heading into the backcountry.
Eleven combines expansive backcountry skiing with the refinement of a boutique hotel and the character of a true mountain town. It’s a compelling choice for groups who want serious skiing, exceptional comfort and the freedom to make the trip their own.

Eleven Revelstoke Lodge is an excellent choice for:
Skiers chasing deep, dry powder. Revelstoke’s abundant snowfall and cold winter temperatures create excellent conditions for powder skiing.
Skiers who want varied terrain and truly unlimited heli-skiing. Eleven accesses approximately 300,000 acres across the Monashee and Selkirk ranges, from glaciated alpine terrain to sheltered old-growth forests. There are no caps on vertical or flight hours, so groups can keep skiing when conditions and energy allow.
Groups who want a private, tailored experience. Private heli-skiing is at the heart of Eleven’s operation. With flexible dates and a concierge team, the trip can be shaped around the group’s schedule, preferences and appetite for skiing.
Guests who value exceptional guide support. The industry leading three-guests-to-two-guides format provides an unusually high level of guide support and oversight in the mountains.
Skiers looking for a town based lodge. Set in a restored historic building in downtown Revelstoke, Eleven pairs beautifully designed accommodation with restaurants, cafés, shops and nightlife just outside the door.
Guests who want to make the most of their travel days. Heli-ski transfers between Kelowna International Airport and the lodge can turn arrival or departure into another day on the snow.
Eleven Revelstoke Lodge may not be the best fit for:
Solo travellers and groups of two. Eleven is designed around private groups, so it may not suit those looking to book independently or as a pair.
Guests looking for an all-inclusive experience. With dinner not included and restaurants and activities spread throughout town, the stay offers more independence than a traditional all-inclusive lodge package.
Travellers seeking a wilderness lodge. Eleven is in downtown Revelstoke, with the town’s restaurants, shops, and nightlife close by; guests looking for a remote, self-contained lodge may prefer a more isolated operation.

Eleven’s heli-ski tenure stretches across the Monashee and Selkirk ranges, divided into three zones: Monashees, Valhalla and Pinnacles. With terrain on either side of the Columbia River, guides have room to move between zones and work around local weather, looking for the best visibility, snow and skiing each day.
The Monashees and Valhalla zones are the draw for tree skiing. In this temperate rainforest, cedar, hemlock and spruce grow in naturally spaced stands, opening into long hallways and playful corridors with good sightlines. The skiing is about flow: linking turns through the trees, dipping into pockets of deeper snow and finding pillows or rolls when you’re looking to catch a little air. When the weather cooperates, the Pinnacles zone offers a change of pace, with alpine bowls, open slopes and bigger-mountain lines.
Pacific storms bring plenty of snowfall, while colder interior air helps keep the powder light and dry—especially in sheltered tree terrain. With zones on both sides of the Columbia River, guides can choose the best match for the day’s weather, snow and terrain, while tailoring the skiing to the group’s ability and preferences. Private and semi-private groups make that flexibility even more valuable, allowing the day to find its own rhythm.
Eleven flies A-Star helicopters, with groups of either three skiers and a guide or four skiers and a guide. The result is a varied day that can shift from sheltered tree runs to open alpine terrain as conditions allow.
-
Eleven’s unlimited-vertical program is genuinely unlimited, even on fully private helicopters. There is no cap on vertical or flight hours, so groups can keep skiing for as long as conditions and legs allow. Most groups ski around 8 to 12 runs a day, but when the snow is good and everyone is keen, there’s no need to call it early. Want to skip the traditional lunch stop and keep skiing? Your guides are happy to keep the day going.
Each day also includes a guaranteed minimum amount of helicopter flight time, which is cumulative across the trip:
Private groups: 1.5 hours of guaranteed flight time per day
Semi-private groups: 2 hours of guaranteed flight time per day
If the guaranteed flight time isn’t met, the shortfall is issued as a credit for use during the current or following season.
Eleven reports a 93% fly rate in recent years, making weather-related down days uncommon.
-
Eleven is one of the only, if not the only, heli-ski operations to offer a 3:2 guest-to-guide ratio. With one guide leading and a second acting as a tail guide, the group benefits from an additional set of eyes on the skiers and terrain.
Guests are equipped with avalanche transceivers, probes and shovels, as well as lightweight, high-performance avalanche airbags. Before skiing, everyone completes a safety briefing and beacon training.
Daily safety planning includes monitoring avalanche and weather conditions, guide meetings and terrain selection based on current risk assessments. Eleven is a fully accredited member of HeliCat Canada, with its operation audited against industry standards for guide qualifications, emergency planning, avalanche risk management, annual training and aviation safety. Lead guides hold certifications from the ACMG, CSGA or an IFMGA-accredited foreign guiding association.

Eleven Revelstoke brings a different kind of heli-ski lodge experience: a beautifully renovated historic hotel in the heart of a mountain town. The lodge has 12 guest rooms and accommodates up to 16 guests. Each guest has a king room, with no single-occupancy surcharge, and the three distinctive two-storey rooms are available at the same rate.
The rooms balance the building’s heritage with a fresh, contemporary feel. The Monashee, Pinnacle and Valhalla rooms are especially distinctive, arranged over two floors with a separate sitting area and ensuite. They feel like a retreat of their own after a full day in the mountains.
The third floor is the lodge’s social hub. Guests can settle in by the fireplace, step out onto the open deck, or head for the outdoor hot tub, Finnish sauna, steam room and cold plunge. Downstairs, the former boiler room has become a speakeasy, giving après a little more character than the usual lodge lounge.
And then there’s Revelstoke itself. Restaurants, cafés, bars and shops are just outside the door, with Revelstoke Mountain Resort an option for a down day. Eleven offers the comfort and atmosphere of a boutique hotel, with the energy of a mountain town close at hand.
-
The day starts with a made-to-order breakfast at the adjoining Quartermaster Eatery, giving guests time to fuel up before heading into the mountains. Eleven’s culinary team prepares lunch for the day’s skiing, then welcomes guests back for après with food and drinks in a relaxed setting.
Dinner is where Eleven’s setup differs from a traditional heli-ski lodge. It isn’t included, leaving guests free to settle in for an evening in the private loft at Quartermaster or head out to explore Revelstoke’s restaurant scene. Quartermaster is a compelling option close to the lodge, with a seasonal menu built around local ingredients and scratch-made dishes.
For a change of scene, town has plenty of choices within walking distance, from casual pub fare and pizza at The Village Idiot to sushi and Japanese dishes at Kawakubo, or a more intimate dinner at Woolsey Creek Bistro.
It’s a flexible approach to dining: Eleven takes care of the meals that fit around the ski day, while leaving evenings open for a spontaneous night out or a longer dinner around the table.
-
Guests can fly into Kelowna or Calgary and continue to Revelstoke by road. Kelowna is the closer airport, with a drive of approximately three hours. Calgary is another option, with a drive of around four and a half to five hours.
For a more seamless arrival or departure, Eleven offers heli-ski transfers to and from Kelowna International Airport. For the ski-to-lodge option, guests spend the night in Kelowna or arrive early that morning. Eleven meets them at the airport, provides a safety briefing, then takes them skiing en route to the lodge. Their bags are transferred separately to Revelstoke.
With the ski-home option, guests ski on their final day and heli-ski back to Kelowna, while Eleven transfers their bags to the airport. This can allow guests to catch an early evening flight from Kelowna.
Guests can also add a day at Revelstoke Mountain Resort before their heli-ski trip. One resort day can be accommodated while staying at Eleven; for additional resort days, guests will need to arrange accommodation at another hotel or chalet.

Our Take
Eleven Revelstoke is a strong choice for private groups who want to make the most of their time in the mountains without sacrificing comfort. Its genuinely unlimited heli-skiing means there is no cap on vertical or flight hours, giving groups the freedom to keep skiing when the snow is good and everyone still has energy. The itinerary is flexible, too, with dates and ski days shaped around the group rather than a fixed lodge schedule.
The experience is distinctly town-based. Instead of a remote wilderness lodge, guests stay in a beautifully renovated boutique hotel in downtown Revelstoke, with thoughtful design, excellent wellness facilities and the town’s restaurants and bars just outside the door. It’s a different kind of heli-ski trip, with more independence and a stronger connection to the local mountain-town scene.
For groups looking to maximize their time on snow, the heli-ski-to and heli-ski-from Kelowna options are a real advantage. Arrive in Kelowna, ski your way to the lodge, or finish the trip with a final day in the mountains before flying back to the airport. These transfers turn travel days into ski days and make an already flexible experience feel even more tailored.
Eleven is best suited to groups who value private groups, a bespoke itinerary and the freedom to ski on their own terms.
